Saturday’s 6 Things

Saturday’s 6 Things

Six facts about what I have focused on this past week.

1. I have enjoyed watching:
Scotland’s home of the year. So many beautiful homes. I definitely am not a fan of modern, mono-chrome houses though. I love older homes with character, colour and filled with beautiful things.

2. Favourite meal or recipe of the week:

Definitely the Lobster Rolls we had ordered from Burger and Lobster! Decadent.

3. The Bible Verse that has resonated most with:
A Psalm of David.

The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.
- Psalm 23 : 1 - 6 (NKJV)

4. What I have been listening to:
Joe Baxter’s music on the St Peters Notting Hill instagram account. His version of Reckless Love is so beautiful.  @ stpetersnottinghill @joebaxtermusic

5. What’s new:

Visited Paddington Basin and the Station and saw the statue of Paddington Bear, plus the blue statue of him, which I was not familiar with.

6. A Quote/Poem I have pondered:

“You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.”
- Andre Gide
