Saturday’s 6 Things

Six facts about what I have focused on this past week.
1. I have enjoyed watching:
The Night Manager, on Prime
2. Favourite meal or recipe of the week:
Crab cakes from Whole foods, served with yummy roasted baby potatoes, with tarragon, Parmesan and parsley and a mixed salad.
3. The Bible Verse that has resonated most with:
“Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.”
- Psalm 1 : 1-3 (NKJV)
4. What I have been listening to:
Have Hope by U137
5. What’s new:
Walking down side streets and discovering the wonderful Connaught Street, with all its quaint shops, galleries and businesses. I love the beautiful shop doors and displays, like the hanging flowers in the photo above.
6. A Quote/Poem I have pondered:
“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them - that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”
- Lao Tzu
