Saturday’s 6 Things

Saturday’s 6 Things

Six facts about what I have focused on this past week.

1. I have enjoyed watching:
Snowpiercer on Netflix. It is just my kind of series - set in a post apocalyptic future and very intriguing plot. Unfortunately you have to wait for the next episode to air each week. I have also enjoyed Scotland’s Home of the year on iPlayer, but it is the same story with that. I have realised, with some things, I have no patience.

2. Favourite meal or recipe of the week:

Last night’s Blue Fin tuna and Caprese Salad with large yellow and red st Jude tomatoes from France.

3. The Bible Verse that has resonated most with:

“Be angry, and do not sin” : do not let the sun go down on your wrath”
- Ephesians 4 : 26 (NKJV)

4. What I have been listening to:
Old stuff - Florence and the Machine, Birdy, Coldplay

5. What’s new:

Discovering Provenance Village Butchers and finally getting to venture inside The Notting Hill Fish Shop (which I had heard so much about). Both are amazing foodie venues, right on my doorstep.

6. A Quote/Poem I have pondered:

“I have learned that if you must leave a place that you have lived in and loved and where all your yesteryears are buried deep, leave it any way except a slow way, leave it the fastest way you can. Never turn back and never believe that an hour you remember is a better hour because it is dead. Passed years seem safe ones, vanquished ones, while the future lives in a cloud, formidable from a distance.”
- Beryl Markham
